30‑Day Return Policy
- You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility
- Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.
- Keep your receipt or proof of purchase (receipt, order number, or proof of purchase at a farmers market).
- We do not accept returns where the customer’s only reason is “I didn’t need the product anymore,” “changed my mind,” or similar change‑of‑heart reasons. Returns are accepted only for defects, damage, incorrect items, or other valid issues documented with proof of purchase and photos/videos.
How to Start a Return
- Email melsnaturalapothecary@gmail.com with: order number (or farmers‑market receipt), photos/videos showing the item and packaging, and a brief reason for return.
- We will evaluate the request and reply with next steps. Do not send items back before approval.
Return Shipping & Costs
- If your return is approved, we will provide a pre‑paid return shipping label and instructions.
- Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
- We may deduct reasonable shipping costs from the refund for non‑defective returns.

In‑Person (Farmers Market) Returns
- For items purchased at a farmers market, please bring the item and your receipt to our next market stall or contact us at melsnaturalapothecary@gmail.com to arrange an exchange or refund. We’ll process in‑person returns at the market when possible.
Damages, Defects & Wrong Items
- Inspect your order when you receive it. Contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect. Provide photos/videos so we can evaluate and make it right (replacement, exchange, or refund).
Non‑Returnable / Exceptions
- For hygiene and safety reasons, opened or used personal care items may be ineligible for return if they cannot be resold.
- Custom, personalized, or special‑order items are not returnable.
- We do not accept returns for hazardous materials (not applicable to your product list), flammable liquids, or gases.
- Sale items and gift cards are final sale and non‑returnable.
Exchanges
- To exchange an item, return the original (once approved) and place a new order for the replacement item to ensure availability.
Refunds
- After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you whether your refund is approved. If approved, we will refund the original payment method within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.

International / EU Customers
- Currently we primarily sell in the U.S. If shipping to the European Union in the future, EU consumers may have a 14‑day cooling‑off right; those orders will be handled in accordance with applicable regulations.
